Travel By Broom

Hey there guess what today is......that's right it is Tuesday and it is time for another challenge at KAH Wink E Dink.  This week we are all traveling at KWED.........well the challenge theme this week is.......Vacation - Travel - Bon Voyage


For my card I have made a little Halloween scene using several of the really fabulous digi images from the KWED Store.   Be sure to hope over to see what the other DT girls have done for travel......you can win something if you join us in our challenge.

This little gal travels by the use of a broom in the dark of the night.  I used the KWED digital images Witch, Man in the Moon, Which Way From Here Sign, Scull, Grass Clumps, Backyard Fence and Pumpkins.  The background paper is Recollections and all coloring was done with Prismacolor pencils and OMS.  TFL

This week at Simple Doodles the challenge is Back to School.  I don't have children at home anymore to get ready for school but all 6 of the grandchildren are now in school.  They were all very excited to get back to school.....well as least see all their friends again.
For this card I used a QuicKutz embossing folder and then inked with chalk ink over the top to bring out the design; the digital image is Digital Stamp Oasis; coloring done with Prismacolor pencils and OMS; coloring on the chalk board was done with dark gray chalk to give it the chalkboard look; on the lettering and the gem stars I used BIC marker; I stamped dots using dye based ink; ribbon from my collection.  TFL
