Cuttlebug #29 - Mother's Day Card

Here is a little Mother's Day card I made for the challenge on Cuttlebug Challenges. We were supposed to make a Mother's Day card and matching envelope. TFL

I have discovered a little trick that I use to keep the ridges from appearing on your card when you use the smaller folders. I put the card stock in the folder that I want embossed....then I use another folder and just lay it on top of the card stock and run it through the Cuttlebug machine like normal. No ridges will appear. I discovered this sort of by accident.......don't you just love it when an accident turns out to be a great idea!!!!!!!! ;)

For this card I made I used the border folder on the edges and then laid a regular sized folder on top to cover the rest of the card stock.

Here is my card and matching envelope.
I used my new Core'dinations cardstock, K&Co pp, Cuttlebug Border with Love folder, Spellbinders curved rectangles and oval scallops.

  1. Very nice! Love the matching envelope! Great job on the challenge. I can't get the CB borders to work without 'denting' my cardstock above and below the embossed area....sigh!
