Shannon's Sentiments BLOG HOP

Hello and Welcome to the Shannon's Sentiments BLOG HOP.  We are all using images and sentiments from the May New Releases.  Aren't all of these super great images and sentiments that we have been showing you the last few days.

Here is my card and I am using images and sentiments from the Shannon's Sentiments Friendship and Lots of Thanks sets. On the vase of flowers I have combined two identical images by flipping one of the Flowers with Vase images and then layering it on top of the other image and I also cut out two of the flowers and popped them up. For the sentiment I have combined the oval frame, swirl and for a Special Friend sentiment and layered two of the butterflies to give it some depth.  The lace, ribbon, buttons with twine and gems are from my collection.  TFL

Creatalicious Challenge for May

First I would like to announce that this is my first post as a Guest Designer for Creatalicious.

The challenge this month at Creataliciuous is Flourishes.....it's all about flourishes they can be die cuts, stamps or pattern paper just use your imagination to see how many flourishes you can add to your project.

Here is my card.  Digital image is Lauretta's Digitals; coloring done with Prismacolor pencils and OMS; Glossy Accents on the glass part of the sunglasses;  all papers have been embossed with flourishes embossing folders - Cuttlebug, Sizzix and QuicKutz; sentiment ticket is Bizzy Becs; circles and die cut flourishes are Spellbinders with Stickles; circle spiral metal clip; open weave burlap ribbon from my collection.  TFL

Shannon's Sentiments May Release - Final Day and Challenge

Welcome to our final preview day!!!!!  We're combining it with our usual Saturday challenge today so you'll get lots of eye candy for the new releases.

Today we're featuring the Getaway Car and Bride and Groom images as well as the Just Married and Lots of Thanks Add-on sets.

The full sets with a blog hop will be starting at 6am EST on April 15th at the "Shannon's Sentiments" blog.

 We will also be hosting a chat at our CDAC group page at 8pm EST on the 15th as well.

Cindy is hosting the challenge this week and has challenged us to create a card featuring 3 flowers and no patterned papers.
