This weekI combined the challenge for 365 Cards Day 149 was to Try a Sponging Technique and the Creative Card Crew week #21 challenge Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.


Here is my card. Papers are Glitter stack DCWV; torn edge has ink sponging on the edge; sentiment is K&Co; Prima flower with gem brad; scalloped circle punch with piercings; butterfly charm was a RAK; ribbon from my collection. A little unexpected item is the plastic clips from an old undergarment. TFL

Here is my card. I hand wrote the homophone sentiment "Which Way?". Printed papers are K&Co; 3D glitter foam stickers were a RAK; gem and ribbon from my collection. To get the shimmer look on the black background I used shimmer chalk. TFL

Here is my card. I used some dark chocolate brown ink to distress the edges of my card stock base; die cut heart with sticker of chocolate and large word chocolate actually are scratch and sniff so they do smell like chocolate; ribbon from my collection.

This week on If the Shoe Fits Scrap It the challenge was to make a Christmas card using a tropical theme.

Creative Inspirations, Colour Create and 365 Cards

For this card I have combined the two challenges of Creative Inspirations #17 to use stitching real or faux and the Colour Create #23 to use blue and white with the optional extra to make it Vintage. On 365 Cards the challenge was That's It, I Quilt! and to use this pattern.

This card is done with cutting squares and triangles and then doing machine stitching to make the look of a pieced quilt. I was going to put on a sentiment but I really like the look without one.

Today the challenge posted on 365 Cards was to use paint on your card.


Here is my card. I used acrylic paint on a big silk flower and then pressed the flower on to my cardstock, I did machine stitching around the outside edge; sentiment is Studio G and ribbon is from my collection. TFL
