Sketches by Tamara - card sketch #97
Another really great sketch this week from Sketches by Tamara.

Here is my card. I used some decorative scissors for the edges.....boy I haven't used those in awhile. Then I machine stitched on some floral fabric and of course added a BIG layered flower. TFL

365 Cards - Days 85- 91
I have really had fun with all the challenges on 365 Cards this week. Thank for a great variety of things to challenge me.
Some of my cards this week are a bit funky looking. LOL
I did manage to get all of them done this week. :) TFL
Day 85 - Super Sketchy Sunday
Love this sketch and I will be using it again. I have had this fun wide ribbon for a long time and this seemed to be a good place to use some.
Day 86 - Monday - This will be GRAPE fun.
We were to use at least 5 circles and purple as the primary color.
I punched many many circles and inked the edges to make this flower. The stem and leaves are Spellbinders Doodle Parts.
Day 87 - Tuesday - The Eyes Have It

Use the word "Eye" on your card was the challenge for this one.
Well I must say it threw for a little bit.....then I remembered my friend is always saying she saw this good looking guy that was "pure eye candy."
It is a little wierd....but I think she will get a kick out of this for her birthday.
I used parts of a real candy wrapper.
Day 88 - Wednesday - Quite a Pair

This is a card I made for my niece that just got engaged and there will be a shower for her. The Congratulations cut out shape is actually a gift card from Target. I just loved the shape so decided to put it on the front with removable glue dots. It can be removed from the card and the flower and heart also can be removed easily.
Day 89 - Thursday - Image This - Watermelon

Use my Cricut cartridge Doodlecharms for the watermelon and then added a few black buttons.
Day 90 - Friday - I See Your "Two Colors"
I chose to use red and pink for my two colors. The 4 and U are chipboard. The 4 is very glittery and I cut the U and covered with pp.
Day 91 - Saturday - Front & Center

Hope that there is enough white space around the flower focal on this card. The leaf is an embossed rubbing from a texture plate.

Creative Card Crew - Challenge #12
This week on Creative Card Crew the challenge was to use pretty flowers.

I love using flowers and have a pretty good stash of silk flowers that I use. When I looked at my flowers I was a little torn on what flowers to use. So a light bulb went off and I decided to make a torn flower. ;) Here is the result of me tearing lots and lots of petals and then inking them. TFL

Cuttlebug Challenges - Be Inspired #33
This week on Cuttlebug Challenges the Be Inspired challenge is to use a Monogram.

I like using monograms on my cards and often use them to make the card more personalized. I used DCWV spring glitter letters and Fiskars corner spiral for all the corners and then inked the top. For the center of the flower I used Quickutz scallop circle and then embossed it with Cuttlebug Floral Fantasy folder being careful to line up the scallop so it would be embossed by one of the flowers on the folder. Charisma Cardz - Thursday #20 challenge
On Charisma Cardz this week the challenge was to make a card using flowers, lace and pearls.

Here is my card. For some reason it took me quite a long time to pull all the elements together for this card. I don't do Vintage very often and I thought with lace and pearls there should be a Vintage look about the card. TFL

SheetLoad June sample - Beyond the Card
I have two projects that I would like to share with you that I made for the June issue of SheetLoad of Cards. These are using the same basic layout design for the June issue but are adjusted to work on something other than a card.

The first one is a mini candy box that can hold several little treats. I used the collection called Miss Moxie and the stamp set is purr-fect friends from The Angel Company (TAC).

This next project is a gift card holder. I used the Spellbinders Labels 1 to get this shape. The collection of papers and ribbon I used is called Mia's Cottage and the stamp set is purr-fect friends from The Angel Company (TAC).
